หนังรวมดาราทั่วฟ้าเมืองจีน เรื่อง The Founding of a Republic ที่สร้างขึ้นเพื่อเฉลิมฉลองวาระครบรอบ 60 ปีการก่อตั้งสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ซึ่งถ่ายทอดประวัติศาสตร์จีนในช่วงปี 1945 – 1949 ถือเป็นการร่วมแรงร่วมใจของทั้งนักแสดงและผู้กำกับจี น ไล่ไปตั้งแต่ เจ็ต ลี, หลิวเต๋อหัว, เฉินหลง, โจว เหวิน ฟะ, จางซิยี่ และอีกกว่า 100 คน ที่มาช่วยกันสร้างสรรค์ให้หนังออกมาสมบูรณ์แบบ หนังเล่าเรื่องความยิ่งใหญ่ของพรรคคอมมิวนิสต์จีนช่ว งปี 1945 – 1949 ในสงครามกลางเมือง เพื่อแย่งชิงอำนาจการปกครองประเทศ เมื่อกองทัพแดงซึ่งนำโดย ประธานเหมา ที่ขาดแคลนอาวุธอันทันสมัย แต่เต็มไปด้วยความอดทน และอุดมการณ์ กลับสามารถครองใจประชาชน เอาชนะในสงครามเหนือพรรคก๊กมินตั่งที่นำโดย นายพลเจียงไคเช็ค ที่ได้รับการสนับสนุนทั้งเรื่องงบประมาณ ยุทโธปกรณ์จากสหรัฐอเมริกา……
