Rigor Mortis เป็นหนังที่สร้างอุทิศให้กับภาพยนตร์ต้นแบบ Mr.Vampire หรือ ผีกัดอย่ากัดตอบ ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องราวของชายคนหนึ่งที่เคยเป็นนักแสดงชื่ อดังแต่ต้องโชคร้ายคตกอับ ครอบครัวล่มสลายจนต้องย้ายมาพักอาศัยในแฟลตเก่า ๆ แห่งหนึ่งจนเขาเริ่มพบว่าในตึกแห่งนี้ไม่ได้มีแค่เขา คนเดียวและเต็มไปด้วยฝูงผีดิบจำนวนมาก นำแสดงโดย เสี่ยวโหว (Chin Siu Ho) และ อู๋เอี่ยวฮั่น (Richard Ng Yiu Hon)
