ภาคที่ 8 เจสันโดนปราบที่แมนฮัตตัน แต่ภาคนี้แกดันกลับมาอยู่ที่คริสตัลเลคเฉยเลย
ภาคนี้เจสันก็ยังคงอึดเช่นเดิม ไล่ฆ่าคนเป็นงานอดิเรก แต่งานนี้โดนเก็บตั้งแต่ต้นเรื่อง โดนหน่วยสวาททั้งกองมาระเบิดจนเจสันเละเป็นจุลมหาจุล
แต่แล้วก็ ... ปรากฏว่าพี่เจสันแกดันยังไม่ตายอีก หนังเล่าประมาณว่าพี่เจสันแกกลายเป็นตัวอะไรซักอย่าง ที่สามารถย้ายร่างไปสิง สู่ร่างใหม่ได้
และวิธีเดียวที่จะปราบเจสันได้คือ ต้องเอากริชวิเศษมาแทงมัน
โดยต้องให้ลูกหลานตระกูล "วอร์ฮีส์" ของเจสันเท่านั้น เป็นคนฆ่า!!

แม้การฆ่าภาคนี้จะโหดมากก็ตาม แน่นอนหนังดับตามคาด จนต้องมีการขายสิทธิ์หนังชุดนี้ไป
และผู้ที่ซื้อต่อก็ไม่ใช่ใครครับ คือ New Line Cinema เจ้าของหนังชุดพี่เฟรดดี้ ครูเกอร์ แห่งนิ้วเขมือบนั่นเอง!!
