จุดประสงค์คือต้องการแสดงให้ผู้ชมตระหนักว่าสงครามมี แต่การสูญเสียของทุกฝ่าย โดยใช้ เหตุการณ์ในประวัติศาสตร์เป็นฉากหลังของเรื่องกับตัว ละครและสถานการณ์ที่สมมติขึ้น
