ผู้การ โคแวค (Djimon Hounsou) หัวหน้าทีมกองกำลังพิเศษของกองทัพฝรั่งเศสพร้อมลูกที มของเขาอีก 5 คน ได้รับมอบหมายภารกิจให้ไปช่วยเหลือนักข่าวสาวชาวฝรั่ งเศส
ที่ถูกกลุ่มผู้ก่อการร้าย “กลุ่มตาลีบัน” จับตัวไว้ในอัฟกานิสถาน การช่วยเหลือนักข่าวสาวออกจากที่คุมขังนั้นไม่ใช่เรื ่องยากเลย สำหรับสุดยอดทหารอย่างโคแวคและลูกทีมฝีมือฉกาจอีก 5 คน
แต่สิ่งที่ยากยิ่งกว่านั่นคือการหนีจากการถูกไล่ล่าจ ากพวกตาลีบัน เมื่อเกิดเรื่องผิดพลาดในการลงจอดรับของเฮลิคอปเตอร์ !!!
