A Nightmare On Elm Street : นิ้วเขมือบ

ภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ จัดได้ว่า เป็นหนังสยองขวัญในตำนานอีกเรื่องของวงการ ซึ่งเป็นที่รู้จักไปทั่วโลก มานานถึง 32 ปี
จนถึงปัจจุบันนี้ มีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 9 ภาค ซึ่งหาได้ยากที่จะมีหนังเรื่องนึงที่จะมีภาคต่อเท่าน ี้ (แต่ยังแพ้ ศุกร์ 13 ฝันหวาน มี 12 ภาค)

"เฟรดดี้ ครูเกอร์" เป็นตัวละครหลักของภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ ซึ่งจะปรากฏในทุกๆภาค รับบทโดย Englund ซึ่งทำให้เขาโด่งดังในวงการ
เฟรดดี้ ครูเกอร์ คือผีร้าย ที่จ้องจะไล่ฆ่าเด็กวัยรุ่นหนุ่มสาวในความฝัน ถ้าใครถูกฆ่าในความฝัน ในโลกจริงก็จะตายไปด้วย

จากหลายสิ่งหลายอย่างทำให้ตัวละครปีศาจนักฆ่าแห่งควา มฝัน เฟรดดี้ ครูเกอร์ ถือกำเนิดขึ้น ซึ่งก็มาในฟอร์มที่สยดสยองอย่างมาก
หน้าตาเละเทะเนื่องมาจากโดนเผาทั้งเป็นด้วยน้ำมือของ เหล่าผู้ปกครองของเด็กๆ ที่โดนเขาฆ่าตาย เฟรดดี้ก็เข้าข่ายฆาตกรโรคจิต
ถูกจับได้แต่หลักฐานอ่อน เลยได้รับการปล่อยตัว ทีนี้บรรดาพ่อแม่เจ้าทุกข์ก็เลยจัดการใช้ศาลเตี้ยมาฌ าปนกิจมันซะเลย
แต่ที่ไหนได้ พี่แกดันไม่ยอมตายแล้วตายเลย เฮียเฟรดดี้ดันหวนกลับมาล้างแค้น ไล่ฆ่าวัยรุ่นในความฝันแทน

ผู้แต่ง (Craven) คิดเก่งนะครับ บทดี ตอนแรกเหมือนจู่ๆ เฟรดดี้ก็มาไล่ฆ่าอาละวาดอย่างเดียว แต่สักพักปมก็เริ่มโผล่มา
เลยทำให้หนังดูมีน้ำหนักขึ้น แล้วก็น่าติดตามมากขึ้นเรื่อยๆ ลุ้นว่าจะงัดกลยุทธใดมาปราบมัน ตอนท้ายก็ตื่นเต้นกันไปครับ
กว่าจะสยบมันได้ก็เหนื่อย แล้วตอนจบของเรื่องก็นับว่าเหมาะสมตามทางที่มันควรจะ เป็นครับ จบได้สะใจดี

แต่เชื่อมั้ยครับว่าเขาเขียนบทออกมาเสร็จปี 1981 แต่ไม่มีค่ายหนังไหนสนใจซื้อทำเลย (สมัยก่อนหนังสยองชวัญแนวนี้มักโดนมองข้าม)
จนกระทั่ง New Line Cinema ก้าวเข้ามายอมสร้างให้ แต่ตอนสร้างก็เหมือนตลกร้าย ตอนนั้น New Line ยังไม่ค่อยจะมีทุนหนาเท่าไหร่
ถ่ายทำไปได้ครึ่งเดียวบริษัทก็ไม่มีเงินมาจ่ายเหล่าท ีมงานแล้วครับ แต่ยังโชคดีที่มีบริษัทอื่นมาช่วยอุ้มชูอีกที
แล้วหนังก็สำเร็จออกมาครับ ได้ออกฉายซึ่งหนังเรื่องนี้ถือได้ว่าเป็นหนังเรื่องแ รกที่ New Line สร้างออกมาด้วย

แล้วไงล่ะ พอออกฉายจริง หนังสามารถทำเงินมากมายจนสามารถพลิกสถานการณ์บริษัทจ ากที่เกือบล้มละลายให้รอดพ้นมาได้จนปัจจุบัน
จากเรื่องนี้ทำให้มีตำนาน คือมีการเรียกบริษัท New Line ว่า "the house that Freddy built" หรือ บ้านหลังนี้เฟรดดี้สร้างเอาไว้นั่นเอง
