เกมอิงประวัติศาสตร์อย่างซีรี่ส์ Total War มาพร้อมภาคใหม่อิงประวัติศาสตร์จีนสุดยิ่งใหญ่ Total War: Three Kingdoms
จากนิยายประวัติศาสตร์สุดยิ่งใหญ่ช่วงศตวรรษที่ 14 เรื่องสามก๊ก มาสู่ Total War: Three Kingdoms จะมีการโฟกัสตัวละครเป็นหลัก ความเข้มข้นของการเมิองจีนช่วงศตวรรษที่ 2 และ 3 ในยุคที่ยังมีเจ้าผู้ครองเมือง ตัวเกมจะมีโหมด Classic ให้ผู้เล่นได้รับประสบการณ์เต็มอิ่มไปกับเนื้อเรื่อง เเละประวัติศาสตร์

คุณ Janos Gaspar ตำเเหน่ง Game director ให้สัมภาษณ์ถึงบรรดาตัวละครต่างๆ ภายในเกม พวกเขาจะมีความเเตกต่างอย่างเห็นได้ชัด เมื่อเล่นในโหมด Classic กับ Normal

“โดยตัวละครใน Total War: Three Kingdoms ในโหมด Normal เมื่อตัวละครเข้าสู่สนามรบ จะมีการใช้ศิลปะการต่อสู้วูซูหรือการใช้กลยุทธ์ทำศึก เข้าต่อสู้กัน” คุณ Gaspar กล่าว “เเต่ในโหมด Classic จะโฟกัสถึงการบัญชาการรบตามหลักประวัติศาสตร์ ชัยชนะที่ได้รับจะมาจากการใช้กลยุทธ์มากกว่า”
