The Guns Of Navarone หรือในชื่อไทย "ป้อมปืนนาวาโรน" เป็นภาพยนตร์สงครามที่ออกฉายในปี 1961 สร้างจากนวนิยายในชื่อเดียวกันของ Alistair MacLean นักเขียนชาวสกอตติช อดีตทหารเรือในสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 มีเนื้อเรื่องเกี่ยวกับเหตุการณ์ยุทธการโดเดคานีส (Dodecanese) ในปี 1943 เมื่อทหารสัมพันธมิตรพยายามบุกเข้ายึดหมู่เกาะโดเดคา นีสกลางทะเลอีเจียน ของกรีซ ที่ตกอยู่ใต้การยึดครองของนาซีเยอรมัน แต่ไม่สามารถรุกคืบหน้าไปได้ เนื่องจากถูกระดมยิงจากป้อมปืนที่ตั้งอยู่บนยอดเขานา วาโรน ประกอบกับมีข่าวว่าทัพนาซีกำลังจะยกพลบุกที่มั่นของส ัมพันธมิตร ฝ่ายสัมพันธมิตรจึงชิงส่งจารชนเข้าแทรกซึมเพื่อทำลาย ป้อมปืนลงเสียก่อน
