Rainbow Rose ละครที่เป็นผลงานการร่วมมือกันผลิตของเกาหลีและญี่ปุ ่น ที่มี คังจียอง (Kang Ji Young) แห่ง Kara รับบทเป็นนักแสดงนำครั้งแรกหลังจากเดบิวท์ เตรียมจะออกอากาศตอนแรกทาง Tooniverse ในวันที่ 6 กันยายน 2555

สำหรับพระเอกนางเอกในเรื่อง Rainbow Rose คือ คังจียอง กับ กอนอิล (Geon Il) แห่ง Supernova โดยในเรื่อง คังจียองรับบทเป็น ยูรี ลูกสาวของเจ้าของหอพักที่ใฝ่ฝันอยากเป็นแฟชั่นดีไซเน อร์ ส่วนกอนอิลรับบทเป็น ยูอิจิ ชาวเกาหลีที่อาศัยอยู่ในประเทศญี่ปุ่นที่เรียนเอกบริ หาร

โดยนอกจากคังจียองกับกอนอิลแล้วยังมี จูเลี่ยน คัง, อีซังยอบ, จองซอนคยอง, ซอนอูแจด็อก, นักแสดงญี่ปุ่น มิสึซาวะ เอเรน่า, ฟูจิอิ มินะ ร่วมแสดงด้วย โดยจองซอนคยองที่รีเทิร์นผลงานจอแก้วอีกครั้งหลังจาก ห่างหายไปนานจะรับบทเป็นแม่ของยูรี พร้อมโชว์ฝีมือการแสดงที่เต็มไปด้วยเอกลักษณ์ในบทเจ้ าของหอพัก

Rainbow Rose เป็นละครที่เล่าถึงเรื่องราวที่เกิดขึ้นของเหล่านักเ รียนจากหลากหลายประเทศและวัฒนธรรมกับการใช้ชีวิตในหอ พักของเกาหลี โดยก่อนหน้านี้ละครได้ออกอากาศทาง TV Tokyo สถานีโทรทัศน์ของญี่ปุ่นไปแล้วเมื่อเดือนเมษายน 2555 ก่อนจะมาออกอากาศที่เกาหลี

After her father has run away with another woman, and her family is in a debt of a house loan, University student Yuri’s family is in big trouble. After meeting his brother and mother, they have decided to put the rooms for rent to University students. But most students in the house do not really like the taste of Korean cuisine. Various problems have been encountered due to the differences in cultures and customs when international students sought to rent into the so-called now boarding house.
