เรื่องย่อ
ERAGON กำเนิดนักรบมังกรกู้แผ่นดิน ณ เมืองอาลากาเซีย มีการต่อสู้ของนักรบคู่มังกรกับฝ่ายอธรรมปรากฏว่านัก รบคู่มังกรเป็นฝ่ายชนะ ภายหลังได้เกิดการแย่งชิงกันเป็นใหญ่ในหมู่นักรบคู่ม ังกร ซึ่งมีกัลบาทอริกซ์ (John Malkovich) เป็นคนทรยศและฆ่านักรบคู่มังกรคนอื่น ๆ เพื่อให้ตัวเองได้ขึ้นเป็นกษัตริย์ แต่มีกลุ่มนักรบที่เรียกตัวเองว่า วาร์เดน คอยลุกขึ้นต่อสู้กับกษัตริย์ผู้ชั่วร้าย โดยมีพันธมิตรแนวร่วมอย่างเจ้าหญิงอารีอา (Sienna Guillory) ซึ่งลักลอบนำไข่มังกรหนีออกจากเมือง จุดประสงค์เพื่อปลุกตำนานนักรบมังกรขึ้นอีกครั้งเพื่ อมาต่อกรกับกษัตริย์กัล บาทอริกซ์ผู้ชั่วร้าย อีกด้านหนึ่งของเมือง เอรากอน (Edward Speleers) เด็กหนุ่มวัย 17 ปี เค้ากำพร้าพ่อแม่ อาศัยอยู่กับลุงและลูกพี่ลูกน้องทั้งหมดมีอาชีพเป็นช าวนา แต่แล้ววันหนึ่งชีวิตของเอรากอนก็ต้องเปลี่ยนไปตลอดก าล เมื่อเค้าได้พบกับไข่ใบโตสีฟ้าในป่าแห่งหนึ่งตอนออกล ่าสัตว์ เค้าเก็บมันมาไว้ที่บ้านและต่อมาไข่สีฟ้าใบนั้นได้แต กออกและกลายเป็นมังกร น้อยออกมา
