เรื่องย่อ :

ณ ชายฝั่งแห่งนี้ มาร์ติน โบรดี้ (รอย ไชเดอร์ ) ผู้นำของกลุ่มคนสามคน ที่พยายามหยุดเจ้าอสูรร้าย จากการล่าเหยื่อรายต่อไป โบรดี้ ร่วมมือกับนักสมุทรศาสตร์หนุ่ม แมท ฮูเปอร์ (ริชาร์ด เดรย์ฟัสส์) และนักประมงมือฉมัง ควิ้นท์ (โรเบิร์ต ชอว์) ที่เคยกรำศึก กับเจ้าฉลามร้ายมาก่อน
โบรดี้ พยายามที่จะปิดชายหาดแห่งนี้ แต่ทว่า นายกเทศมนตรีกลัวว่าจะขาดรายได้หลักจากนักท่องเที่ยว ไป จึงปฎิเสธ โบรดี้ และเพื่อนร่วมขบวนการอีกสองคน จำต้องดำเนินการขั้นสุดท้าย คือการปะทะกับเจ้าปีศาจร้าย แห่งท้องทะเล โดยการพยายามล่อให้มันมาติดกับ โดยใช้เหยื่ออันโอชะจำนวนมหาศาล
