เด็กนักเรียนมัธยมที่เก่งด้านกีฬา แต่ไม่ค่อยเก่งเรื่องเรียนนัก วันหนี่งซาบุโร่ได้เดินทางย้อนเวลากลับไปโผล่ในยุคเซ ็นโกคุ ในปี ค.ศ 1549
ที่นั่นซาบุโร่ได้พบกับ โนบุนางะ โอดะ ผู้ซึ่งมีหน้าตาเหมือนซาบุโระเด๊ะๆ โนบุนางะ โอดะคือลูกชายของขุนนางที่ครองจังหวัดโอวาริตอนใต้ ขณะนั้นร่างกายของโนบุนางะ โอดะไม่ค่อยแข็งแรงจึงได้ขอให้ซาบุโรมาแทนที่เขา…จาก นั้นเองที่ซาบุโร่ในฐานะโนบุนางะตัดสินใจที่รวบรวมปร ะเทศให้เป็นหนึ่งเดียว
