เมื่อ โจ หลุดออกจากสวนสัตว์ ออกอาละวาดกลางนครลอสแอนเจลิส ผู้คนแตกตื่นและสร้างความเสียหายไปทั่วเมือง ตำรวจเชื่อว่าทางเดียวที่จะหยุด โจ ได้คือความตาย แต่ จิล ก็พยายามพิสูจน์ให้เห็นว่าการที่ โจ เป็นแบบนี้เพราะถูกแรงกระตุ้นบางอย่าง และเธอสามารถควบคุมสถานการณ์เลวร้ายนั้นได้
