รื่องย่อ
เป็นเรื่องราวนางเอกของเรื่อง คือ Dr.Brennan หรือ Bones เป็นนักนิติมนุษยวิทยา (Forensic Anthropologist) ที่ใช้หลักฐานด้านโครงกระดูกในการสืบหาสาเหตุการตายข องศพ ซึ่งนำไปสู่การเปิดเผยตัวฆาตกรในที่สุด ในเรื่อง Bones ต้องทำงานกับ Booth เจ้าหน้าที่ FBI สุดหล่อ (มีบางคนบอกว่า บุคลิก ป๋า มาก) ที่เก่งในด้านการสืบสวนคดี และรัก Bones มาก แต่ไม่เคยแสดงออกหรือข้ามเส้นความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเพื ่อนร่วมงานเลย ส่วน Bones เองก็ดูมีใจกับ Booth มาก พยายามไปคบหนุ่มอื่นอยู่หลายคน แต่ก็ไม่ work (ในฐานะที่เป็นผู้หญิงด้วยกัน คิดว่า Bones รอ Booth เอ่ยปากอยู่นะ) ทุกครั้งที่ Bones อยู่ในภาวะวิกฤติ Booth แทบจะแลกตัวเองเพื่อให้ได้ Bones กลับคืนมา เช่นเดียวกัน เมื่อ Booth ตกอยู่ในภาวะเสี่ยงตาย ก็เป็น Bones อีกนั่นแหละ ที่ออกเสี่ยงตายตามหา จน Booth รอดชีวิตกลับมา
