Harry Brown (ปู่ Caine) อดีตนาวิกโยธินที่ปัจจุบันแก่หง่อมแถมยังมีโรคประจำต ัวเป็นถุงลมโป่งพองอีก ด้วย ส่วนภรรยาของปู่ก็นอนป่วยอาการหนักอยู่ รพ. ปู่อาศัยอยู่ในชุมชนอพาร์ทเม้นท์แถบลอนดอนใต้ ที่ถือว่าเป็นแหล่งเสื่อมโทรม เพราะมีแก๊งค์วัยรุ่นกวนเมืองที่ค้ายาเสพติดและยังข่ มเหงชาวบ้านอย่างคึก คะนองเป็นประจำ ซึ่งทางตำรวจก็ทำอะไรไม่ได้มากนัก ส่วนปู่เขาก็พยามยามอยู่ห่างๆ อย่างห่วงๆ ไม่อยากยุ่งหรือมีปัญหากับใคร เพราะสำนึกตนว่าหง่อมได้ที่แล้ว จน มาวันที่ภรรยาปู่จากไปโดยที่แกไปดูใจไม่ทัน ซึ่งปู่รู้สึกชีช้ำยิ่งนัก เพราะดันเลือกที่จะเดินทางอ้อมไป รพ. แทนที่จะไปทางปกติเหตุเพราะมีแก๊งค์วัยรุ่นตั้งด่านป ่วนอยู่ ส่วนเพื่อนรักคนเดียวที่มีก็โดนวัยรุ่นรุมทำร้ายร่าง กายจนตายศพไม่สวย เมื่อปู่ไม่เหลือใครอีกต่อไป ก็ไม่มีอะไรจะเสียแล้ว แกจึงลุกขึ้นมาสวมบทเป็นเพชฌฆาตหง่อม ออกจัดการแก๊งค์วัยรุ่นถ่อยผู้ฆ่าเพื่อนรักแกให้ตายต กไปตามๆ กัน โดยมีอุปสรรคสำคัญคือความหง่อมของปู่เอง ที่แค่หายใจก็เหนื่อยแฮ่กแล้ว(กรรม) แค่หนังเริ่ม ต้นมาก็จับความสนใจได้อย่างชะงัดและชวนช็อคแล้ว เพราะแสดงให้เห็นถึงกลุ่มวัยรุ่นที่ยุ่งเกี่ยวกับยาเ สพติดจนเที่ยวยิงชาว บ้านอย่างคึกคะนอง หนัง เสนอตนเองอย่างจริงจัง หนักแน่น และวางเงื่อนไขให้ปู่ลุกขึ้นมาโหดได้ดี แต่ก็ไม่เร่งเร้า หวือหวา ส่วนฉากยิงกันนั้นก็เด็ดขาดได้ใจ ทางด้านปู่ Caine นั้นก็ยอดเยี่ยมมาตั้งแต่ไหนแต่ไรแล้ว และในเรื่องนี้ก็เช่นกัน ที่แกมาในมาดคนแก่หง่อมที่ดูไร้พิษภัยทั่วๆ ไป แต่ก็ต้องลุกขึ้นมาโหดและบู๊ได้อย่างน่าเชื่อถือ ไม่ได้เก่งเว่อร์ และก็ไม่หง่อมจนทำอะไรไม่ไหว ในขณะที่องค์ประกอบอื่นๆ ล้วนส่งเสริมความเจ๋งให้กับตัวหนังได้เป็นอย่างดี
