คนแรก Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) ทนายที่เก่งที่สุดใน NY เก่งมากจริงๆ รวยมาก ฉลาด หล่อ มีเสน่ห์ ปากดี (เรียกได้ว่ากวนตรีน ตามสไตล์ทนาย) ใส่สูทตัวละเป็นแสน ขับรถคันละหลายล้าน เพอร์เฟ็ค

อีกคน Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) เด็กหนุ่มแสนฉลาด แต่เรียนไม่จบมหาลัยด้วยซ้ำ ฉลาดมากกกก ความจำดีมากกกกกก ถ้าได้อ่านอะไรหรือเห็นอะไรก็จะจำเข้าหัวแล้วไม่ลืมเ ลย ความรู้เรื่องกฎหมายเยอะมาก เพราะอ่านมาก ต้องการหาเงินเลยโกงการสอบ รับจ้างสอบแทนคนอื่นโดยเขียนชื่อสลับกันจนตัวเองเลยส อบเข้ามหาลัยไม่ผ่าน แต่ยึดอาชีพสอบแทนคนอื่นจนคนอื่นเขาสอบผ่านได้เรียนด ีๆ ไปหลายคนแล้ว

Mike Ross อดีตนักศึกษาผู้ฝันว่าวันหนึ่งจะได้เป็นทนายความ แต่ความฝันของเขาต้องพบอุปสรรคเมื่อเขาถูกจับได้ว่าข ายข้อสอบวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ให้กับลูกสาวของคณบดี Mike จึงต้องออกจากมหาวิยาลัย อาศัยความเฉลียวฉลาดและความทรงจำที่เป็นเลิศ Mike หาเงินด้วยการรับจ้างเข้าสอบให้กับนักศึกษาคนอื่น
ขณะเดียวกัน Harvey Specter เป็นทนายความที่มีชื่อเสียงในนิวยอร์กและเพิ่งได้เลื ่อนตำแหน่งเป็นหุ้นส่วนอาวุโสของบริษัทกฏหมาย โดยตำแหน่งนี้บังคับให้ Harvey ต้องจ้างผู้ช่วยส่วนตัว หลังจากได้สัมภาษณ์ Mike โดยบังเอิญ Harvey ประทับใจในความเฉลียวฉลาด ความรอบรู้ในข้อกฏหมาย และความกระหายในการเป็นทนายความของ Mike Harvey จึงตัดสินใจจ้าง Mike เป็นผู้ช่วยโดยมองข้ามข้อเท็จจริงว่า Mike ไม่ได้เรียนจบกฏหมาย และในเมื่อบริษัทของ Harvey โปร Harvard เป็นพิเศษ Mike กับ Harvey จึงทำเป็นว่า Mike จบจาก Harvard
