เรื่องย่อ

โจยุน (คังดงวอน) เป็นลูกชายนอกสมรส ที่ใต้เท้าโจพาเข้าบ้าน โดยแรกๆ

ก็ได้รับการเลี้ยงดูอย่างดี จนภรรยาใต้เท้าเกิดความริษยาจึงพยายามมีลูกชายบ้าง

เพราะที่ผ่านมามีแต่ลูกสาว จนกระทั่งวันหนึ่งนางก็ได้ลูกชายสมใจ

ขุนนางโจเลยไปเห่อลูกชายคนใหม่



โดลมูชี่ (ฮาจองอู) คนแล่เนื้อผู้มีชีวิตที่แร้นแค้น ได้รับการว่าจ้างจากโจยุน

ฆ่าภรรยาของน้องชายที่กำลังตั้งท้อง เมื่องานไม่สำเร็จ โจยุนจึงสั่งเผาบ้านโดลมูชี่

เป็นเหตุให้น้องสาว และแม่เสียชีวิต



เหตุการณ์เหล่านี้เกิดขึ้นในช่วงปี 1859 อันเป็นยุคมืดของโชซอน มีกลุ่มโจรปล้นบ้านขุนนาง

เพื่อเอาของมาแจกจ่ายคนจนอยู่เนืองๆ กลุ่มที่มีชื่อเสียงที่สุดคือก๊วนชูซอล

แห่งเทือกเขาจีรี กลุ่มนี้นอกจากจะปล้นเอาดื้อๆ แล้ว ยังมีฝีมือทางด้านล่อลวง

ฉ้อโกง ขุนนางได้อีกด้วย เพราะกลุ่มนี้ทำงานเป็นทีม และมียอดฝีมือ(ด้านการโกง) รวมตัวอยู่



เมื่อโดลมูชี่ ถูกทาบทามให้มาเข้าก๊วนโจร เขาก็มีเป็นอริที่สำคัญคือโจยุน แน่นอนว่าโดลมูชี่ก็ตั้งใจหมายหัว "เอาคืน" โจยุน ให้สาสม แล้วโจยุนจะเอาตัวรอดอย่างไร ติดตามใน Kundo: Age of the Rampant
