#เรื่องย่อ : กลุ่มนักศึกษาปริญญาเอกที่กำลังทำดุษฎีนิพนธ์เกี่ยวก ับเรื่องการศึกษาโรคอัลไซเมอร์ในผู้สูงอายุ จนมาพบเข้ากับกลุ่มตัวอย่าง-ครอบครัวของหญิงชรา คุณยาย Deborah Logan (รับบทโดย Jill Larson) ที่มีปัญหาเกี่ยวกับอาการผิดปกติทางจิตและทางกายด้วย โรคอัลไซเมอร์อย่างรุนแรงนานหลายปี เล่าลือกันว่าทุกค่ำคืนตัวของ Deborah Logan จะมีพฤติกรรมแปรเปลี่ยนไปจากปกติแบบสุดขั้ว จากกลางวันเธอจะเป็นเพียงหญิงชราวัยไม้ใกล้ฝั่งที่อย ู่ในภาพซึมเศร้า เคลื่อนไหวเชื่องช้า
จวบจนตกกลางคืนเธอจึงเริ่มมีเรี ่ยวแรง ขยับแขนขนราวคนบ้าคลั่ง มีพละกำลังวิ่งได้รวดเร็วยิ่งกว่าคนหนุ่มสาว (อาการคล้ายคนถูกผีเข้า) จนบางครั้งผู้คนใกล้ๆบ้านหลังนี้เริ่มกลัว หวาดระแวงหญิงชรา และสับสนกับพฤติกรรมดังกล่าวว่ามันเกิดจากสาเหตุอะไร กันแน่
มันเกิดจากการกระทำของมนุษย์ต่างดาว-สภาพร่างกายที่แปรเปลี่ยนไปตามอายุ-สิ่งลี้ลับภูตผีปีศาจร้าย หรืออะไรกันแน่ ( ? ) ประจวบกับกลุ่มนักศึกษาจากต่างถิ่นเริ่มสนใจเคสตัวอย ่างนี้เข้าอย่างจังเบอร์ เพราะมันเป็นพฤติกรรมที่แปลกแยกมากๆ จึงพยายามติดต่อไปยัง Sarah Logan (รับบทโดย Anne Ramsay) เครือญาติใกล้ชิดของหญิงชราที่คอยดูแลปรนนิบัติรับใช ้คุณยาย Deborah Logan ภายในบ้านหลังนั้นเอง เพื่อขออนุญาตติดตั้งกล้องวงจรปิดหลายสิบตัว ทั้งภายในและภายนอกตัวบ้าน สำหรับเฝ้าอาการและสังเกตพฤติกรรมของหญิงชราตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง !!!
