พรสวรรค์ในการเต้นของซูซี่ทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเ ธอกับ มาดามบลังค์ (ทิลด้า สวินตัน) หัวหน้าผู้ฝึกสอนของคณะมีความแน่นแฟ้นขึ้นอย่างน่าปร ะหลาด
ราวกับว่าจุดประสงค์ของเธอนั้นไม่ได้มาเพื่อการเต้นร ำเท่านั้น ในช่วงเวลาเดียวกัน หญิงสาวภายในคณะก็เริ่มทยอยหายตัวไปอย่างลึกลับ
