เรื่องย่อ
คาซุมิ ชายหนุ่มที่มองโลกในแง่ดีและทำเพื่อผู้อื่นก่อนตัวเอ งเสมอเขาเป็นคนขี้สงสารและใจอ่อนกับคำอ้อนวอนของคนรอ บข้าง ดังนั้นไม่ว่าเรื่องเดือดร้อนของใครที่รู้มาถึงหูของ เขา จะต้องได้รับความช่วยเหลืออย่างแน่นอน โดยเฉพาะเรื่องเงิน และก็ไม่ใช่ว่าคาซุมิจะรวยมาจากไหน ดังนั้นทุกครั้งที่ต้องใช้เงิน เค้าก็ใช้วิธีการกดเงินสดจากบัตรสินเชื่อส่วนตัว กดไปกดมาจนวงเงินเต็ม ทำให้ต้องหาทางออกด้วยวิธีอื่น นั่นก็คือการไปยืมเงินจากผู้ปล่อยกู้ แต่ในโลกนี้ไม่มีอะไรได้มาโดยง่าย คาซุมิจะต้องพับซองจำนวน 2 ล้านซองให้เสร็จภายในคืนเดียวจึงจะมีสิทธิ์ได้กู้เงิ นครั้งนี้
คุณตำรวจคนยากกับสาวผู้รักการช้อปปิ้งเป็นชีวิตจิตใจ แนะนำให้รู้จักกับ โอมุ ผู้ปล่อยเงินกู้ที่เห็นว่าเงินคือพระเจ้าที่ประทานให ้ได้ทุกอย่าง หากไม่มีเงินก็ไม่สามารถทำอะไรได้ ส่วนคาซุมินั้นเชื่อว่ามิตรภาพต่างหาก คือสิ่งที่สำคัญและทำให้คนเราฝ่าฟันอุปสรรคไปได้ทุกๆ อย่าง โอมุจึงท้าทายคาซุมิ ว่าให้ใช้มิตรภาพนั้นซื้อความสำเร็จคราวนี้มาให้ได้
และแล้วบรรดาเพื่อนๆ ของคาซุมิ ก็มาช่วยให้เค้าสามารถพับซองสองล้านใบได้เสร็จทันเวล าจริงๆ หากแต่ไม่มีใครที่ไม่หวังผลตอบแทน ทุกๆคนเข้าใจว่า นี่คือการทำงานพาร์ทไทม์ที่ต้องได้ค่าจ้างต่างหาก
ชิราชิอิ เด็กหนุ่มหน้าตาใสซื่อได้ย้ายมาอยู่ห้องตรงข้าม แถมยังทำงานพิเศษที่เดียวกันด้วย คาซุมิรู้สึกถูกชะตาและให้ความเอื้อเฟื้ออย่างเต็มที ่ ไม่ว่าจะเรื่องอาหารการกินหรือที่อยู่หลับนอนให้โดยไ ม่ได้คิดว่าตัวเองจะมีเหลือไว้ใช้เองหรือเปล่า
และเมื่อมารู้ทีหลังว่า ชิราชิอิต้องมาตกระกำลำบาก เพราะพ่อของเค้าเป็นหนี้ถึง 10 ล้านเยน คาซุมิก็ตัดสินใจหางานพิเศษทำเพิ่มและไปกู้เงินอีกคร ั้ง อย่างไรก็ตาม ท้ายที่สุดคาซุมิก็ได้พิสูจน์ให้โอมุ และทุกๆคนเห็นว่า ถึงแม้เงินจะสำคัญแต่ก็ไม่มากไปกว่ามิตรภาพที่เขาเชื ่อมั่น ถึงระหว่างทางจะลำบากแต่เขาก็สามารถผ่านพ้นมันไปจนถึ งเป้าหมายได้
