เรื่องย่อ
หลังจากเกิดเหตุการณ์แผ่นดินไหวครั้งใหญ่ในญี่ปุ่น ยูอิจิ (Shô ta Sometani) เด็กหนุ่มที่ใช้ชีวิตไปวันๆไม่มีความฝัน ความหวัง หรือสิ่งสำคัญอะไรในชีวิต แต่ดันมีความคิดพิเรนๆว่าอยากจะเป็นตัวตุ่น(หรือ Himizu ตามชื่อของหนังนั่นเอง) เห็นเป็นแบบนี้ ยูอิจิ เองก็มีเพื่อนร่วมห้องอย่าง เคโกะ (Fumi Nikaidô ) ที่แอบชอบและพยายามหาทางใกล้ชิดอยู่เสมอ แต่สำหรับ ยูอิจิ แล้วสิ่งเหล่านั้นกลับเป็นความน่ารำคาญและพยายามไล่ เคโกะ ไปทุกครั้ง
สิ่งที่เป็นสาเหตุให้ ยูอิจิ ต้องกลายเป็นเหมือนคนต่อต้านสังคมก็เพราะพ่อที่ไม่เค ยอยู่บ้านเจอหน้ากันแต่ละครั้งก็ใช้กำลังทำร้ายร่างก าย แช่งให้ ยูอิจิ ตายทุกครั้งเพื่อหวังเงินประกัน รวมถึงไถเงินที่หามาได้ แม่ที่พาผู้ชายอื่นมานอนที่บ้านไม่ซ้ำหน้า หนำซ้ำในตอนนี้ยังหอบผ้าหนีตามไปอยู่กับผู้ชายคนใหม่ ทิ้ง ยูอิจิ ให้เผชิญเรื่องราวต่างๆตามลำพัง
