The End of the Affair เป็นภาพยนตร์ดราม่าปี 1999 ที่เขียนบทและกำกับโดยนีล จอร์แดนและนำแสดงโดยราล์ฟ ไฟนส์, จูเลียนแอนน์ มัวร์และสตีเฟน เร ภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้สร้างจาก The End of the Affair ซึ่งเป็นนวนิยายปี 1951 ของนักเขียนชาวอังกฤษ Graham Greene ซึ่งได้รับการดัดแปลงเป็นภาพยนตร์ในปี 1955 และปี 1999 เป็นครั้งที่ 2

ช่วงสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 นักเขียนหนุ่ม Maurice Bendrix ได้มาพบกับ Sarah ภารยาของ Henry Miles และ นักเขียนได้ลักลอบมีความสัมพันธ์กับซาร่า และความสัมพันธ์ ได้จบลง สองปีผ่านมา Henryคิดว่า Sarah มีผู้ชายคนอื่น และได้จ้างนักสืบ Maurice ได้ขออาสาเป็นผู้จ้างนักสืบเอง
