วันที่ 11 มีนาคม ปี 2008 รัฐบาลได้ปิดผนึกอพาร์ทเมนต์หลังหนึ่งในลอสแองเจลิสเ อาไว้ โดยไม่มีคำอธิบายใดๆ ไม่มีผู้ใดพบเห็นผู้อาศัยอยู่ในนั้นอีกเลยไม่มีคำอธิ บาย ไม่มีพยานรู้เห็น ไม่มีหลักฐาน…จนกระทั่งตอนนี้…
นักข่าวสาว แองเจลา วีดัล (เจนนิเฟอร์ คาร์เพนเตอร์) และสก็อต (สตีฟ แฮร์ริส) ตากล้องของเธอ ได้รับมอบหมายให้ทำข่าวการทำงานกะกลางคืนของพนักงานด ับเพลิงคู่หนึ่งที่ สถานีดับเพลิงลอสแองเจลิส เพื่อนำมาออกรายการเรียลลิตี ทีวีเกี่ยวกับผู้คนที่ทำงานในระหว่างที่คนทั้งโลกกำล ังหลับใหล หลังจากที่ช่วงเย็นผ่านไปได้อย่างราบรื่น เสียงโทรศัพท์เรียก 911 กลางดึกได้นำพวกเขาไปสู่อพาร์ทเมนต์เล็กๆ หลังหนึ่งที่ตั้งอยู่ใจกลางเมือง เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจไปถึงที่เกิดเหตุเรียบร้อยแล้วหลังจ ากที่ได้ยินเสียงกรีด ร้องโหยหวนดังมาจากห้องๆ หนึ่งที่ชั้นสาม เมื่อได้กลิ่นข่าวเด็ดโชยมา แองเจลาและสก็อตก็เลยตั้งใจที่จะบันทึกเหตุการณ์ทุกอ ย่างไว้ในเทป
เมื่อพวกเขาเดินเข้าไปสำรวจห้องห้องนั้น พวกเขาก็ได้พบหญิงชราคนหนึ่งในชุดนอน ยืนอยู่ลำพังในความมืด เนื้อตัวเธอเปรอะเปื้อนไปด้วยเลือด ลมหายใจถี่กระชั้น เธอดูเหมือนเป็นคนป่วย แต่เมื่อตำรวจตรงเข้าไปช่วยเหลือเธอ เธอกลับตรงเข้าจู่โจมเขา…ด้วยฟันของเธอพวกเขาช่วยกัน จับตัวหญิงชราคนนั้นเอาไว้และพยายามจะขอความช่วยเหลื อ สำหรับตำรวจที่บาดเจ็บ แต่เมื่อพวกเขาพยายามจะก้าวออกจากอพาร์ทเมนต์ พวกเขากลับพบว่า ศูนย์ควบคุมโรคระบาดได้ประกาศให้ อพาร์ทเมนต์หลังนี้เป็นเขตกักกัน ทางออกทุกทางถูกปิดกั้นและคุ้มกันโดยทหารถืออาวุธครบ มือ การสื่อสารทางโทรศัพท์ อินเทอร์เน็ต โทรทัศน์และโทรศัพท์มือถือถูกตัดจนหมด และเจ้าหน้าที่ก็ไม่ได้ให้คำอธิบายใดๆ กับผู้ที่ถูกขังอยู่ข้างในเลย ไม่ นานนัก ทั้งอพาร์ทเมนต์และผู้อยู่อาศัยก็ถูกครอบงำด้วยความต ื่นตระหนก หลังจากที่พยายามทำความเข้าใจกับสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้น ทุกคนก็ถูกบีบให้ต้องมองหาความช่วยเหลือจากกันและกัน
แต่แล้วก็มีเสียงกรีดร้องดังขึ้นจากด้านบน ในห้องโถงใหญ่ที่ทุกคนรวมตัวกันอยู่ ร่างหนึ่งตกลงสู่พื้นจากชั้นสามและการโจมตีก็เริ่มขึ ้นอีกครั้ง……ท้ายที่สุด เมื่อมีการยกเลิกการกักกัน หลักฐานเดียวของสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นคือวิดีโอเทปของตากล้ อง เราขอเชิญทุกคนร่วมชมเทปม้วนนี้เพื่อเป็นประจักษ์พยา นของความสยดสยองที่เกิด ขึ้นกับผู้ที่อยู่ภายใน QUARANTINE

Quarantine 2: Terminal (2011) ปิดเที่ยวบินสยอง

เรื่องย่อ
สำหรับภาคต่อนี้เปลี่ยนเหตุมาเกิดบนเที่ยวบินครับ เป็นเหตุที่เกิดควบคู่ไปกับเหตุในภาคแรก เมื่อเชื้อร้ายได้แพร่มายังเครื่องด้วย ทำให้เครื่องบินต้องลงจอดกะทันหัน แต่กระนั้นก็สายไปแล้วครับ เพราะมีคนติดเชื้อไล่ฟัดคนเรียบร้อย ทีนี้คนที่เหลือก็เลยต้องพยายามเอาตัวรอดตามสูตรน่ะค รับ
หนังยังคงสยองและน่ากลัวอยู่ครับ หลายฉากก็เดาได้ว่ามันจะต้องแฮ่ประมาณไหน (แต่ก็ยังทำให้ตกใจแบบได้ผลพอสมควร) ถ้าไม่คิดมากและยังไม่เบื่อหนังแนวนี้ หรือชอบหนังแนวซอมบี้ขยี้มนุษย์เป็นพิเศษ จะเอามาดูก็ได้ครับผม เพราะตัวหนังก็ถือว่าโอเคล่ะ แล้วยังมีการอธิบายเหตุที่เกิดในภาคแรกด้วยว่า มันมีต้นกำเนิดมาจากอะไร
ต้องบอกก่อนว่าการถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวในภาคนี้ก็เป็นเหม ือนหนังทั่วไปครับ ไม่ได้ถ่ายผ่านกล้องมือถืออีกแล้ว ยกเว้นช่วงท้ายๆ ที่เราจะได้เห็นการมองผ่านกล้องอีกแบบหนึ่ง แต่จะเป็นการมองผ่านกล้องอะไรลองไปดูกันนะครับ
นี่ก็เป็นงานกำกับชิ้นแรกของ John Pogue มือเขียนบทที่ขอโดดมากำกับบ้าง (เขาเคยเขียนบทให้ U.S. Marshals, The Skulls และ Ghost Ship ครับ) ก็ถือว่าไม่เลวน่ะครับ เพียงแต่ไม่ได้เด่นมากเท่านั้นเอง เพราะหลักๆ แล้วมันก็คือซอมบี้ไล่กินคนนั่นแหละครับ ยังไงมันก็หวาดเสียวเวลาซอมบี้โผล่เสมอ
