เนื้อเรื่องของภาพยนตร์อาศัยนวนินายในการนำเสนอ ทนายฝึกหัด Jonathan Harker เดินทางไปยังทรานซิลวาเนียเพื่อดำเนินการเรื่องการซื ้ออสังหาริมทรัพย์ใน London ให้กับ Count Dracula (Gary Oldman) ผู้ที่เขารู้สึกถึงความผิดปรกติเมื่อได้เจอ หลังจากดำเนินการเรียบร้อย Harker ถูกขังไว้เพื่ออาหารให้กับเหล่าแวมไพร์สาวในปราสาทแห ่งนี้ ส่วน Dracula ก็เดินทางมายังประเทศอังกฤษและได้อาศัยในกรุงลอนดอน Dracula ตามหา Mina (Wynona Ryder) คู่หมั้นของ Harker เพราะได้เห็นรูปของเธอซึ่งเหมือนกับ Elizabeth ภรรยาของ Dracula ที่ฆ่าตัวตายในอดีต การปรากฎตัวของผีดูดเลือดทำให้เกิดคนไข้ที่หมอไม่สาม ารถเข้าใจ ไม่สามารถรักษาได้ หมอจึงได้เชิญ Dr. Abraham Van Helsing (Anthony Hopkin) ให้เดินทางมายังกรุงลอนดอน และ Van Helsing ทราบว่าเป้นการกระทำของผีดูดเลือด Dracula ส่วน Jonathan ก็สามารถหนีออกจากปราสาทได้และแจ้งให้คู้หมั้นของเขา ทราบ Mina จึงเดินทางไปหา Jonathan และได้แต่งงานกัน เมื่อทั้งคู่กับมายังกรุงลอนดอนได้เผชิญกับ Dracula โดยความช่วยเหลือของ Van Helsing ทำให้่สามารถทำลายรังผีดิบได้ แต่ Dracula ได้ทำให้ Mina กำลังจะกลายเป้นผีดิบก่อนที่จะหนีกับไปยังปราสาทที่ท รานซิลวาเนีย คณะของ Van Helsing ทั้งหมดจึงต้องเดินทางไปยังทรานซิลวาเนียเพื่อจัดการ กับ Dracula และรักษาภรรยาของ Harker ให้ทันเวลาก่อนที่จะกลายเป็นผีดูดเลือดสมบรูณ์แบบ คณะนักล่าเผชิญหน้ากับ Dracula และในท้ายที่สุด Mina ก็เป็นผู้ที่ช่วยปลดปล่อย Dracula จากความทุกข์อันยาวนาน
