คิมอุคและเพื่อนๆ พยายามที่จะใช้ชีวิตเหมือนคนปกติ หางานดีๆ ที่ได้เงินเดือนมั่นคงทำ แต่พอเขาเข้าไปช่วยคนที่ถูกหลอกเป็นครั้งสุดท้าย กลับต้องเข้าไปพัวพันกับคดีลักพาตัวและคดีฆาตกรรม ส่วนพันซ็อกก็วางแผนที่จะใช้ชีวิตปกติ พร้อมตามหาลูกสาวของเขาต่อไป
ถึงแม้ทั้งสองคนจะพยายามเพิกเฉยและสนใจแต่ชีวิตของตั วเอง ก็ดันมีวิญญาณมาปรากฏตัวต่อหน้า นับตั้งแต่เรื่องหมู่บ้านดูอน เขาไม่เคยเห็นวิญญาณเลยแม้แต่ดวงเดียวจนถึงตอนนี้ และด้วยสัญชาตญาณในฐานะคนที่รักความถูกต้อง ทำให้ทั้งคู่ต้องเข้าไปยุ่งเกี่ยวพัวพันอย่างเลี่ยงไ ม่ได้ แถมยังพบว่ามีวิญญาณเข้ามาพัวพันกับคดีนี้อีกครั้ง
ระหว่างนั้น นิคมอุตสาหกรรม 3 ต่างยินดีต้อนรับคิมอุคและพันซ็อกให้ไปทำงาน แต่กลายเป็นว่า ฮยอนจี (รับบทโดย - ) อยู่ที่หมู่บ้านนี้มาตลอด จนกระทั่งวันหนึ่งพันซ็อกได้พบร่างของเธอ นอกจากนี้พวกเขายังพบว่า ยังอึนฮี (รับบทโดย - ) ก็เป็นผู้อาศัยที่นั่นด้วย เพื่อเห็นแก่ มยองจา (รับบทโดย - ) พวกเขาตัดสินใจตามหาว่าใครเป็นคนฆ่าอึนฮี และเอาศพของเธอไปเพื่อให้เธอได้จากไปอย่างสงบ
