Escape Simulator เป็นเกมที่จะจำลองสถานการณ์ต่างๆ มาให้ผู้เล่นได้ใช้ไหวพริบไขปริศนาเพื่อหาทางหลบหนีอ อกไปจากห้อง ที่จะว่าง่ายๆก็คือมันเป็นการเล่นไขปริศนาหาทางออกจา กห้อง(Escape) ที่มาในรูปแบบเกมเล่นได้จากบ้านนั่นเอง และเกมนี้ยังได้รับความร่วมมือในการพัฒนาจากบริษัท ExitGames กับ Enigmarium ที่เป็นผู้ให้บริการห้องแนว Escape ในประเทศโครเอเชียด้วย
ส่วนระบบการเล่นนั้นก็จะเหมือนกับพวกห้องแนว Escape ที่มีอยู่จริง และในเกมนี้นอกจากจะได้เดินสำรวจห้องแล้ว ยังสามารถ เคลื่อนย้ายสิ่งของ ทำลายข้าวของ หรือไม่ก็เผาทิ้ง ที่ค่อนข้างอิสระมาก
นอกจากนี้ตัวเกมยังเปิดให้ผู้เล่นสร้างห้อง Escape ขึ้นมาด้วยตัวเอง แล้วนำไปให้ผู้เล่นคนอื่นได้ไขปริศนาด้วย ซึ่งใครจะนำห้องที่สร้างเองไปทดสอบความสามารถของเพื่ อนฝูง หรือสร้างความหัวร้อนก็ได้
