Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed ที่เป็นภาคต่อของเกมซิ่งรถโกคาร์ทรวมดาราจากค่ายเซก้ า
"Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing" ที่ออกมาเมื่อปี 2010

มาคราวนี้จะยกขบวนขนเหล่าตัวละครที่แฟนๆคุ้นเคยกันดี จากภาคแรกมากันอย่างครบครัน
ทั้งแมสคอตต์ประจำค่าย "Sonic the Hedgehog", "Beat" จาก Jet Set Radio,
"B.D. Joe" จาก Crazy Taxi และ "AiAI" จาก Super Monkey Ball
พร้อมเพิ่มเหล่าตัวละครใหม่ที่เปิดเผยมาแล้ว อาทิ "Gilius Thunderhead" คนแคระจาก Golden Axe
และ "Vyse" โจรสลัดจาก Skies of Arcadia

สำหรับยานพาหนะในภาคใหม่นี้จะถูกพัฒนาขึ้นให้สามารถป รับเปลี่ยนรูปร่างให้เข้ากับทุกสภาพพื้นผิว
โดยมันจะเป็นรถยนต์บนพื้นดินปกติ แปลงร่างเป็นเรือแล่นบนผิวน้ำ และกลายสภาพเป็นเครื่องบินเมื่ออยู่กลางอากาศ
ส่วนสนามใหม่ในเกมจะมีการเพิ่มสนามตีมเกมยิงขี่มังกร ชื่อดังของค่ายเซก้า "Panzer Dragoon" เข้ามาอีกด้วย

ซึ่งตัวเกมจะมีระบบกลไกการเล่นรูปแบบใหม่ที่เปิดโอกา สให้ผู้เล่นสามารถขับยานพาหนะได้อย่างมีสไตล์และดุดั น
นอกจากนี้ยังมีระบบ "Fair Weapon" ที่ผู้เล่นสามารถทำการบล็อคหรือหลบหลีกการโจมตีของคู ่แข่งได้
และโหมดมัลติเพลย์เยอร์ที่ได้รับการปรับปรุงใหม่ รวมไปถึงโหมดการแข่งขันในรูปแบบของ Grand Prix และ Battle Arena
