The Man with the Iron Fists เป็นเรื่องราวในศตวรรษที่ 19 ซึ่งเหตุการณ์เกิดขึ้นที่เมืองจีน เป็นต่อสู้ระหว่างเหล่าจอมยุทธ์ ที่ต้องปะทะกับมือสังหารหมัดเหล็ก (จริงๆ ก็เป็นเหล็กทั้งร่างนั่นแหละ) ใครที่เป็นคอหนังจีนกำลังภายในคงต้องสนใจเรื่องนี้อย ่างแน่นอนครับ และถือเป็นส่วนผสมที่แปลกเมื่อหนังแนวแอ็คชั่นกำลังภ ายในมาผสานเข้ากับดนตรี แนวฮิปฮอป (Hip hop)

The Man with the Iron Fists กำกับโดย อาร์ซีเอ (RZA) นักแต่งเพลง โปรดิวเซอร์ และนักร้องแนวฮิปฮอป ที่ได้ลองมาจับงานกำกับภาพยนตร์เป็นครั้งแรก หลังจากเรียนรู้การกำกับภาพยนตร์มาจาก ทารันติโน่ โดยนำเสนอในลักษณะของภาพยนตร์จีนกำลังภายใน (Kung Fu) ที่มีกลิ่นอายแบบตะวันตก ซึ่งเป็นการร่วมเขียนระหว่าง อาร์ซีเอ และ อีลี่ ร็อธ (Eli Roth) นอกจากนี้เขายังร่วมนำแสดงอีกด้วย

ส่วนนักแสดงนำอื่นๆ ยังมี รัซเซลล์ โครว์ (Russell Crowe), ซุง ลี (Cung Le), ลูซี่ ลิว (Lucy Liu), ไบรอน แมนน์ (Byron Mann), ริค ยุน (Rick Yune), เดวิด เบาติสต้า (David Bautista), เจมี่ ชุง (Jamie Chung) และ จิน อู-ยอง (Jin Au-Yeung)
