หลังจากเรียนรู้การกำกับภาพยนตร์มาจาก ทารันติโน่ โดยนำเสนอในลักษณะของภาพยนตร์จีนกำลังภายใน (Kung Fu) ที่มีกลิ่นอายแบบตะวันตก
ซึ่งเป็นการร่วมเขียนระหว่าง อาร์ซีเอ และ อีลี่ ร็อธ (Eli Roth) นอกจากนี้เขายังร่วมนำแสดงอีกด้วย
ส่วนนักแสดงนำอื่นๆ ยังมี รัซเซลล์ โครว์ (Russell Crowe)-ซุง ลี (Cung Le), ลูซี่ ลิว (Lucy Liu)-ไบรอน แมนน์ (Byron Mann)
