Arsene Wenger s side won there last season in April to help them on their way to fourth place and a Champions League spot. Top-flight new boys Crystal Palace faced a difficult trip to the Britannia Stadium to play Stoke, who were looking to make a strong start at home under new manager Mark Hughes. Elsewhere, Southampton hosted Sunderland, Everton played West Brom, Hull hosted Norwich, Newcastle took on West Ham, and Liverpool travelled to Aston Villa in the late kick-off.
