เรื่องย่อ
- เรื่องนี้เป็นเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับตำรวจหนุ่มแห่งนครนิ วยอร์ค ที่ชื่อว่า Charlie Lang (Cage) ไม่มีเงินที่จะทิปพนักงานเสิร์ฟสาว Yvonne Biasi (Fonda) แต่ Charlie กลับออกปากสัญญาว่า ถ้าเขาถูกล็อตเตอรี่ เขาจะแบ่งเงินรางวัลครึ่งหนึ่งเป็นทิปให้เธอ ....ซึ่งบังเอิญว่าถูกรางวัลเข้าจริงๆ เป็นเงินถึง 4 ล้านเหรียญ และเขาก็ทำตามสัญญา โดยแบ่งเงินครึ่งนึงคือ 2 ล้านให้ แต่ภรรยาของเขาไม่ยอม ลุกขึ้นมาฟ้องหย่าและต้องการเงิน 2 ล้านเหรียญที่ให้แก่ Yvonne คืนทั้งหมด
แต่เหมือนปาฎิหาริย์ที่ว่าคนที่มีจิตใจดีๆ คุณธรรมดีๆ ก็จะได้รับผลดีๆจากการกระทำดีๆ
