ชีวิตของดันแคน (เคน มาริโน) เจ็บแสบเข้าไปถึงทรวง เขาถูกทั้งเจ้านายสุดแสบ (แพทริค วอร์เบอร์ตัน) และครอบครัวของเขาเองทำร้ายจิตใจ ความเครียดมีแต่หมักหมมจนเป็นโรคบิด เมื่อไม่รู้จะทำอย่างไร ดันแคนจึงหันไปหานักสะกดจิต (ปีเตอร์ สตอแมร์) ที่ช่วยเขาหาต้นตอของโรคปวดท้องจนพบว่า...มีปีศาจตัว จ้อยอาศัยอยู่ในนั้น! ด้วยความวิตกอย่างสุดขีดยิ่งทำให้มันออกมาแล้วเที่ยว ฆ่าทุกคนที่ทำให้มัน โกรธ เมื่อกลัวว่ามันจะทำร้ายคนอื่นๆดันแคนจึงต้องผูกมิตร กับมัน ตั้งชื่อมันว่าไมโล และพยายามทำให้มันอารมณ์ดี เพื่อความปลอดภัยของทุกคน
