ในยุคอนาคตที่มนุษย์เริ่มท่องไปในอวกาศและเริ่มเข้าส ู่ความล่มสลายของ อารยธรรมของมนุษย์ ความบันเทิงกลายเป็นเรื่องนอกกฎหมาย เพราะความเชื่อที่ว่าเสียงดนตรีไม่เหมาะกับจิตใจของม นุษย์ แต่ถึงกระนั้นก็ยังคงมีกลุ่มคนที่รวมตัวกันเพื่อที่จ ะเป็นไอดอลสืบทอด เจตนารมณ์ของกลุ่มไอดอลในตำนาน AKB48 เพื่อสร้างความบันเทิงให้กับคนทั่วไป แม้จะต้องพบกับความยากลำบากและกลายเป็นผู้ก่อการร้าย ก็ตาม โดยเรียกพวกเธอว่า AKB0048
