ตัวเกมจะเกิดในช่วงคืนวันฉลองปีใหม่โดย Bruce Wayne ได้จัดงาน Humanitarian of the Year ขึ้นมาและผู้ที่
ได้รับรางวัลคือ Ferris Boyle ผู้บริหารบริษัท Gothcorp ซึ่งชายคนนี้ได้ทำเรื่องอันโหดร้ายกับ Victor Fries จน
เขาต้องสูญเสียภรรยา และทำให้เขากลายมาเป็น Mr.Freeze นั่นเอง และการกลับมาครั้งนี้ของเขาก็เพื่อล้างแค้นสิ่ง
ที่ Ferris Boyle ได้ทำไว้ ให้คุณได้เล่นเป็น Batman ที่มากับ Extreme Environment Suit พร้อมทั้งอุปกรณ์
เสริมอย่าง Thermal Gloves และ Thermocharged Batarangs ที่มีไว้ต่อกรกับ Mr.Freeze โดยเฉพาะ โดย
