รายละเอียดเรื่องย่อ/Synopsis :

พอล แมคไกวร์ (นิโคลาส) ชายผู้มีอาชีพเป็นผู้รับเหมา เขาเป็นคนดีคนหนึ่ง ถึงแม้ก่อนหน้านี้เขาจะเคยเป็นหนึ่งในสมาชิกแก๊งอาชญ ากรมาก่อน เขาแต่งงานกับวาเนสซ่า (ราเชล) และมีลูกสาวหนึ่งคนคือ เคทลิน (ออเบรย์) พอลเป็นพ่อที่ทุ่มเทให้กับลูกสาวของเขาอย่างที่สุด คืนหนึ่ง พอลและวาเนสซ่า ออกไปร่วมงานเลี้ยงการกุศล และทิ้งเคทลินไว้ที่บ้านกับเพื่อนของเธอ แต่แล้วก็เกิดเหตุไม่คาดฝันขึ้นเมื่อเคทลิน ถูกลักพาตัวไปและถูกฆาตกรรม พอลจึงออกตามล่าและทำให้รู้ถึงเบื้องหลังของแก๊งที่ฆ าตรกรรมลูกสาวซึ่ง เกี่ยวข้องกับอดีตของเขา

Paul Maguire (Nicholas Cage) is a good guy, a pillar of his community. A contractor by trade, he s married to Vanessa (Rchel Nichols) and is a doting father to his daughter Caitlin (Aubrey Peeples). But he is in reality a reformed criminal who remains close to his former partners in crime Kane (Max Ryan) and Doherty (Michael McGrady). One night Paul and Vanessa go out to a charity dinner, leaving Caitlin at home to hang out with her friends Mike (Max Fowler) and Evan (Jack Falahee). At the dinner, Detective St.John (Danny Glover) approaches Paul, who is used to being hassled for his former life of crime his past sins.
