เกม RPG มุ่งเน้นไปที่การต่อสู้ การพัฒนาตัวละคร เก็บสะสมของและออกสำรวจซึ่งจะทำให้โครงเรื่องนั้น
ยืดหยุ่น ไปตามแต่รูปแบบการเล่นของผู้เล่นแต่ละคน โลกภายในเกมอยู่ในสมัยโบราณนับพันๆ ปีมาแล้ว
ซึ่งมนุษย์ได้ก่อกบฎต่อต้านการปกครองแบบกดขี่ของเทพเ จ้าได้สำเร็จ และสังหารเทพลง ร่างกายเทพก็
ค่อยๆ เปลี่ยนเป็นเทือกเขาที่แยกทิศเหนือซึ่งเป็นอยู่อารยธ รรมของพวกนักบวชผู้ใช้เวทย์และทางทิศใต้
ซึ่งเป็นบ้านของเหล่านักรบ

ผู้เล่นจะได้เลือกสามตัวละครคลาสต่างๆ นักรบ ผู้ใช้เวทย์และนักฆ่า นอกจากนี้ตัวละครแต่ละตัวมีโอกาส
ที่จะเลือกเส้นทางของสายเวทมนตร์หรือการต่อสู้ (หรือรวมทั้งสอง) ในการตัดสินใจเลือกจะส่งผลต่อการ
เปลี่ยนแปลงทัศนคติของกลุ่มเผ่าต่างๆ ที่มีต่อตัวเรา ส่วนของที่ดรอปก็จะเปลี่ยนไปตามแต่เทคนิคที่เรา
ใช้เช่นถ้าสังหารศัตรูด้วยเวทมนตร์ มันก็จะดรอปคาถาหรือพวก artifact ในขณะที่การฆ่าศัตรูโดยตีระยะ
ประชิดก็จะดรอปอาวุธหรือชุดเกราะ
