ตอนแรก เขาพบว่าวินัยที่เขาเพิ่งค้นพบนี้ได้ผลดีทีเดียว ทำให้เขารู้จักควบคุมตัวเอง แต่ความแน่วแน่กลับค่อยๆ ถูกเซาะกร่อน เมื่อเขาพบกับหญิงสาวในฝัน เอริก้า (แชนนิน ซอสซามอน) เอริก้าผู้เซ็กซี่ และเด็ดเดี่ยว ทำให้แม็ทท์แทบคลั่ง ทุกคนพนันว่า เขาคงไม่สามารถทำตามที่เขาตั้งใจไว้ได้สำเร็จ แต่เขาต้องพยายามทำต่อไป และหวังเพียงว่าเธอจะอดทนเพื่อเขา
