Storyline: Empires fall, love survives. Inspired by true events: On September 12, 1915, the French Navy rescued more than 4,000 besieged Armenians from Masa Dagh mountain. One and a half million men, women, and children perished during the Armenian Genocide. To this day, the Turkish government refuses to acknowledge this crime.
