เรื่องย่อ
ะครเรื่อง บันทึกน้ำตา 1 ลิตร ( 1 Litre of Tears ) สร้างขึ้นมาจาก ไดอารี่ 1 Litre of Tears ที่คิโตะ อายะ เด็กผู้หญิงที่ต่อสู้กับโรคร้ายมาตลอดได้บันทึกไว้ เป็นหนังสือที่เอาไดอารี่ของเธอทั้ง 46 เล่มมาสรุปและพิมพ์จำหน่ายในชื่อ 1 Litre of Tears ที่ทำให้ทุกคนประทับใจ และจำหน่ายได้ถึง 1.2 ล้านเล่ม และหลังจากที่ละครเรื่องนี้ฉายเป็นละครแล้ว ยอดจำหน่ายได้เพิ่มขึ้นถึง 1.8 ล้านเล่ม ตอนสิ้นปี 2548 และไดอารี่ 1 Litre of Tears นี้ยังได้สรุปบันทึกที่ คิโตะ ชิโอกะ แม่ของอายะ เขียนเอาไว้ในเรื่อง “อุปสรรคของชีวิต” รวมอยู่ในไดอารี่ 1 Litre of Tears นี้ด้วย และวันที่ 23 พฤษภาคม 1988 อายะทิ้งความประทับใจเอาไว้ในโลกนี้ และเดินทางสู่สรวงสรรค์ รวมอายุได้ 25 ปี ละครเรื่อง บันทึกน้ำตา 1 ลิตร ( 1 Litre of Tears ) นี้ เป็นละครชีวิตที่ให้กำลังใจกับคนญี่ปุ่นสมัยนี้ โดยในละครเรื่องนี้ ได้แทนนามสกุลจริง คิโตะ เป็นนามสกุล อิเคอูจิ

“ฉันมีชีวิตต่อเพื่ออะไรกันนะ” นี่คือประโยคหนึ่งจาก ไดอารี่ 46 เล่มที่เด็กผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งเขียนไว้ ตลอดระเวลาที่ต่อสู้กับโรคร้ายที่ไม่มีทางรักษานี้ คิโต อายะ เกิดปี 1962 เป็นโรคที่ชื่อว่า Spinocerebellar Degeneration ซึ่งไม่ทราบสาเหตุที่แน่ชัดในตอนอายุ 14 ปี เป็นโรคที่รักษาได้ยาก อาการของโรคจะทำให้สมองส่วนการรับรู้จะยังทำงานเป็นป กติ แต่จะค่อยๆ เสื่อมลง และควบคุมร่างกายไม่ได้ไปทีละอย่าง ซึ่งไดอารี่ทั้ง 46 เล่มนี้ ก็คือบันทึกการต่อสู้กับโรคตั้งแต่เริ่มมีอาการ จนถึงตอนที่อายะไม่สามารถควบคุมแขนของตัวเองให้เขียน ได้ เสมือนเป็นเสียงตะโกนที่ร้องขอการมีชีวิตอยู่ต่อ จากส่วนลึกของหัวใจเธอ “โรคนี้ทำไมถึงเลือกฉันนะ” นี่คืออีกประโยคหนึ่งจาก ไดอารี่ 46 เล่มที่เด็กผู้หญิงคนหนึ่ง ทั้งๆ ที่เป็นโรคที่รักษาไม่หาย แต่ก็ยังพยายามที่จะมีชีวิตอยู่ต่อไปกับโรคร้ายนั้น ทุกๆ วันที่ถูกรายล้อมไปด้วยความรักทั้งของครอบครัว คนรัก และเพื่อนๆ ที่คอยช่วยเหลือ ร้องไห้และหัวเราะด้วยกัน อยากใช้ชีวิตกันต่อไป เป็นละครชีวิตที่ให้กำลังใจกับคนญี่ปุ่นสมัยนี้
