เรื่องย่อ...
เนื้อเรื่องกล่าวถึงเหตุการณ์ในปี AC-195 (ปี After Colony ที่ 195) เด็กหนุ่ม 5 คน ที่ถูกส่งจากโคโลนี่ต่างๆ พร้อมด้วยหุ่นยนต์รบที่ทรงประสิทธิภาพคือ วิงกันดั้ม กันดั้มเดธไซธ์ กันดั้มเฮฟวี่อาร์ม กันดั้มแซนด์ร็อก เฉียนหลงกันดั้ม มายังโลกเพื่อปฏิบัติภารกิจ โดยที่ไม่เคยรู้จักกันมาก่อน นักรบทั้ง5คนถูกส่งมาจากโคโลนี้เพื่อมากำจัด OZ ซึ่งเป็นองค์กรทหารที่เข้มแข็งที่สุด ถูกส่งมาภายใต้รูปลักษณ์ ของดาวตกโดยใช้ชื่อแผนปฏิบัติการว่า Operation Meteor โดยสร้างจากนักวิทยาศาสตร์ทั้ง 5 โดยส่งมาจากโคโลนี้ต่างๆ เป็นเหตุที่ไม่คาดฝันเพราะ กันดั้มทั้ง 5 ถูกส่งมาพร้อมกันบังเอิญเป็นเหตุที่ต้องทำงานรวมกัน แต่ไม่ว่ายังไงทั่ง 5 คน จะต้องกำจัด OZ ให้ได้เพื่อนำสันติภาพมาสู้ชาวโคโลนี่ หลังจากกันดั๊มทั้ง 5เครื่องถูกส่งมา OZได้เริ่มปฏิวัตโดยการให้คนของ SMS(OZ) แทรกฃึมเข้าไปในสหัพันธ์โลกและกระจายข่าวลวงเพื่อหลอ กใช้นักบินกันดั๊มว่า ผู้นำระดับสูงของOZจะมาประชุมที่ฐานทัพนิวเอดเวิร์ดฮ ีโร่ได้สังหารผู้นำสูง สุดของสหัพันธ์โลกจอมพลโนเวนต้าลงเพราะเข้าใจผิดว่าช ัตเทอร์ที่โนเวนต้านั่ง เป็นของOZ ทำให้สงคราม ครั้งใหญ่เกิดขึ้น
