โซ ยอน (ปาร์มินยอง) ต้องทุกข์ทรมานจากโรคกลัวที่แคบ ซึ่งเกิดกับเธอหลังประสบอุบัติเหตุร้ายแรงตอนเธอยังเ ป็นเด็ก ปัจจุบันเธอทำงานเป็นคนดูและตัดขนสัตว์เลี้ยงในร้านแ ห่งหนึ่ง วันหนึ่งทางร้านได้รับแมวที่ชื่อ บิคันยิ เข้ามา วันต่อมาเจ้าของแมวถูกพบเป็นศพอยู่ในลิฟท์ โซยอนต้องนำแมวกลับไปเลี้ยงตามคำสั่งของตำรวจ จากนั้นไม่นานเธอเริ่มพบเห็นเด็กหญิงลึกลับ เธอหวาดกลัวเป็นอย่างมาก อีกทั้งเพื่อนรักของเธอที่เพิ่งรับแมวจรจัดมาเลี้ยงก ็มาเสียชีวิตลงอีก ความกลัวทวีขึ้นเรื่อยๆ โซยอนและตำรวจจึงร่วมกันค้นหาสาเหตุการตายปริศนาที่ม ีแมวเข้ามาเกี่ยวข้อง
