เล่าถึงชีวิตของบรู๊ซ ลี ตั้งแต่เกิด สภาพความเป็นอยู่ของครอบครัว ลักษณะนิสัย และความมุ่งมั่นต่างๆ ในชีวิต จากวัยเด็ก ก้าวเข้าสู่วัยรุ่น และเติบโตเป็นผู้ใหญ่ด้วยการไปคลุกคลีในวงการภาพยนตร ์ อีกทั้งการออกไปเผชิญโลกกว้างตามวิถีแห่งลูกผู้ชาย เมื่อเกือบ 40 ปีก่อน ไม่มีคอภาพยนตร์คนไหนไม่รู้จัก ไอ้หนุ่มซินตึ๊ง หรือ นักบู๊หน้าหยก บรูซ ลี ซึ่งจากแฟนๆ ไปก่อนเวลาอันควร หลงเหลือไว้เพียงผลงานภาพยนตร์และภาพที่ประทับอยู่ใน ใจของทุกคน น้อยครั้งเหลือเกินที่ชีวิตของบรูซจะถูกนำมาพูดถึง โดยเฉพาะพื้นเพตั้งแต่วัยเด็กของเขาและขณะเข้าสู่วงก ารภาพยนตร์ จนกระทั่ง โรเบิร์ต ลี น้องชายแท้ๆ ของบรูซ นำข้อเท็จจริงเบื้องหลังเบื้องลึกต่างๆ ของเขามาถ่ายทอดในครั้งนี้

เมื่ออายุยังน้อย บรูซ (อาริฟ ลี) เป็นอันธพาลที่ชอบต่อยตีตามท้องถนน โดยมีเพื่อนคู่หูชื่อ กอง และ ยูนิคอร์น เพื่อนนักแสดงเด็กที่ภายหลังไปปรากฏตัวในภาพยนตร์ Fist of Fury และ Way of the Dragon ชีวิตรักของบรูซในช่วงนี้ไม่ค่อยราบรื่นนัก เขาหลงใหลหญิงสาวชื่อ แมนดี้ อย่างหัวปักหัวปำ แต่ปรากฏว่าดันใจตรงกันกับเพื่อนสนิทอย่างกองเสียได้
