พูดไปก็ไม่น่าเชื่อว่าเราจะได้เห็น Clint Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones และ Donald Sutherland (ประธานาธิบดีสโนว์แห่งฮังเกอร์เกมส์นั่นไง) มาเป็นนักบินอวกาศต้องออกไปเดิน Space Walk กันในวัยปูนนั้น แต่มันก็เป็นไปแล้วในหนังเรื่องนี้ที่ปู่ Clint แกกำกับเองเล่นเองและก็ยังคงพกพาความเก๋าในสไตล์แกมา ใส่ในหนังอวกาศได้อย่าง น่าทึ่งเหลือเกิน

หนังมีเนื้อหาคร่าวๆพูดถึงอดีตทีมนักบินที่เก่งกาจซึ ่งต้องกลับไปช่วยนาซ่า ทำภารกิจซ่อมแซมดาวเทียมรุ่นเก่าแก่อีกครั้งเนื่องจา กคนยุคใหม่ๆนั้นไม่มี ใครซ่อมมันเป็นแล้ว พวกปู่ๆแกเลยต้องรวมพลออกไปทำภารกิจกันอีกครั้งในวัย ไม้ใกล้ฝั่งแบบนี้แหละ

ตัวหนังเหมือนจะไม่มีอะไรมากแต่มันมีประเด็นเรื่องคว ามสัมพันธ์สหรัฐ-โซเวียตในยุคโน่นแฝงไว้เยอะทีเดียวครับ
