เป็นเรื่องราวของ เอเย่นต์นักกีฬารูปหล่อ ที่มากไปด้วยความสามารถขนาดร่วมกับเพื่อนก่อสร้างบริ ษัทที่ตัวเองเร่งสร้างมากับมือ โดยตลอดชีวิตการทำงานของเค้านั้นเต็มไปด้วยความสำเร็ จทางด้านการเงิน และ จำนวนลูกค้าที่มากขึ้นทุกวันๆ แต่แล้ววันนึงเค้ากลับรู้สึกว่าการที่ยอดจำนวนลูกค้า ที่เค้ามีอยู่นั้นมันกลับไม่ได้แปรผันให้ความสุขในชี วิตนั้นมีมากเลย เพราะเมื่อเค้ามีลูกค้ามากขึ้นการเอาใจใส่ดูแลลูกค้า แต่ละคนก็น้อยลง ต่างจากความคิดหลักในการก่อตั้งบริษัทครั้งแรกของเค้ า

ความรู้สึกขัดแย้งกับตัวเองนั้นรุนแรงไปจนที่วันนึง Jerry McGuire นั้นก็ลุกขึ้นมาเขียนแถลงการณ์ความคิดของเค้าในกางดึ กตอนตีสอง และเอาไปแจกให้กับพนักงานทุกคนในบริษัท แต่แล้วแถลงการณ์อันนั้นก็กลับเป็นชนวนที่ทำให้เค้าต ้องถูกไล่ออกจากบริษัท ชีวิตที่สุขสบาย งานการมั่นคงของเค้านั้นจึงถูกกระทืบทิ้งในพริบตา
