Out of Africa หรือ รักที่ริมขอบฟ้า ชื่อในThai PBS "ขอบฟ้าแห่งรัก" เป็นภาพยนตร์ที่ออกฉายในปี พ.ศ. 2528 กำกับโดย ซิดนีย์ พอลแลค นำแสดงโดย เมอริล สตรีพ และโรเบิร์ต เรดฟอร์ด ดัดแปลงสร้างจากหนังสืออัตชีวประวัติ "Out of Africa" และ "Shadows on the Grass" ของบารอนเนส คาเรน บลิกเซน (Baroness Karen von Blixen-Finecke) ชาวเดนมาร์กที่ใช้ชีวิตทำไร่กาแฟอยู่ที่ประเทศเคนยา แอฟริกาเป็นเวลาหลายปี ระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2457 - พ.ศ. 2477 ใช้นามปากกา "ไอแซค ไดนีเสน" (Isak Dinesen) ตีพิมพ์ครั้งแรกในปี พ.ศ. 2480 หนังสือ Out of Africa แปลเป็นภาษาไทยโดย สุริยฉัตร ชัยมงคล ใช้ชื่อภาษาไทยในการตีพิมพ์ครั้งแรก ว่า "พรากจากแสงตะวัน" และใช้ชื่อ "รักที่ริมขอบฟ้า" ในการตีพิมพ์ครั้งที่สอง พ.ศ. 2536 [1]ตามชื่อที่ใช้ในการฉายภาพยนตร์ในประเทศไทย [2] ส่วนหนังสือ Shadows on the Grass ใช้ชื่อภาษาไทยว่า "รูปเงาบนพรมหญ้า"

ภาพยนตร์ได้รับรางวัลเป็นจำนวนถึง 28 รางวัล รวมทั้ง รางวัลออสการ์ 7 สาขา จาก ภาพยนตร์ยอดเยี่ยม ผู้กำกับยอดเยี่ยม บทภาพยนตร์ดัดแปลง กำกับภาพ ดนตรีประกอบ กำกับศิลป์ และตัดต่อเสียง และรางวัลลูกโลกทองคำ 3 สาขา จาก ภาพยนตร์ยอดเยี่ยม นักแสดงประกอบชาย (Klaus Maria Brandauer) และดนตรีประกอบ
