เรื่องราวความสัมพันธ์ของนักโทษชายสองคน คือ แจโฮ (รับบทโดย ซอลคยองกู) และ ฮยอนซู (รับบทโดย อิมชีวาน) ที่ดำเนินไปอย่างมีสีสันน่าติดตามตั้งแต่จากจุดเริ่ม ต้นไปถึงจุดสิ้นสุด แจโฮ เป็นสมุนมือขวาของนายใหญ่ในแก๊งค์สเตอร์มาเฟียค้ายาร ะดับข้ามชาติ เมื่อต้องโทษติดคุก ความเป็นนักเลงตัวจริงเสียงจริง จึงทำให้เขายังสามารถแสดงบารมีและอำนาจอันน่าเกรงขาม นั่งแท่นเป็นเบอร์หนึ่งในโลกหลังกำแพงทึบแห่งนี้ ฮยอนซู เป็นนักโทษหนุ่มมาใหม่ แต่ออกตัวมาอย่างบ้าบิ่นด้วยการเป็นนักสู้ดุดันผู้ไม ่มีทีท่ายอมอ่อนข้อใคร เขากล้าร่วมเกมประลองการต่อสู้กับเหล่านักโทษอื่นๆที ่ครองตำแหน่งแชมป์ทรงพลังในคุก ด้วยฝีมือ ความบ้าดีเดือด และการไม่ก้มหัวให้ใครอย่างง่ายๆของเขา เป็นที่สะดุดตาแจโฮ แต่ถึงกระนั้นก็ตาม ฮยอนซูก็ยังต้องใช้เวลาและความจริงใจในการพิสูจน์ควา มภักดีจนแจโฮยอมรับ และความสนิทสนมรู้ใจกันของเขาทั้งสองได้กลายเป็นประห นึ่งพี่น้องร่วมสายเลือด เมื่อพ้นโทษออกจากคุก แจโฮกลับมารับใช้นายเก่า โดยมีฮยอนซูคู่ซี้เป็นมือขวาคนสนิทของแจโฮ แจโฮมีเป้าหมายต้องการโค่นนาย แล้วขึ้นนั่งเป็นเบอร์หนึ่งของแก๊งค์อาชญากรค้ายาระด ับชาตินี้แทน ในขณะที่ทางการตำรวจก็กำลังไล่ล่า หาทางหวังกวาดล้างธุรกิจมืดและจับมาเฟียจอมกร่างแก๊ง ค์นี้เข้าคุกให้ได้ ท่ามกลางความสัมพันธ์เบื้องหน้าที่แนบสนิท ไว้วางใจกันดีของแจโฮและฮยอนซู ต่างคนต่างมีเรื่องจริงอะไรซ่อนอยู่
