เรื่องย่อ

LOL หรือ "Laughing Out Loud" แปลว่าหัวเราะจนท้องแข็ง แต่เธอผู้ได้รับฉายานี้กลับหัวเราะไม่ออก เมื่อโดนแฟนหนุ่มนอกใจ ขณะที่แม่ก็มากังวลอนาคตของเธออีกต่างหาก ภาพยนตร์โรแมนติกคอมิดี้ที่สร้างจากหนังฝรั่งเศสปี 2008 นำแสดงโดย ไมลี่ย์ ไซรัส จากซีรี่ส์วัยรุ่นชื่อดัง Hanna Montana

LOL มาจาก "Laughing Out Loud" แปลตรงตัวว่า หัวเราะจนท้องคัดท้องแข็ง เพราะ Lola เป็นคนร่าเริง เพื่อนๆจึงให้สมญานามนี้กับเธอ แต่วันที่โรงเรียนเปิดเทอม Lola กลับไม่มีแก่จิตแก่ใจที่จะหัวเราะ เนื่องจากเธอเดือดดาลที่แฟนหนุ่ม Arthur สารภาพว่านอกใจเธอเมื่อช่วงหน้าร้อน ส่วนกลุ่มเพื่อนก็มีแต่จะทำให้สถานการณ์เลวร้ายลง Lola ไม่ยอมคุยกับ Anne ผู้เป็นแม่ ไม่เพียงเพราะเรื่องที่แม่ไม่รู้ความหมายของ LOL เท่านั้น หากยังมีเรื่องพ่อกับแม่หย่ากัน รวมทั้งเรื่องที่ Anne ทำราวกับว่าลูกสาววัยรุ่นอย่างเธอเป็นเด็กเล็กๆ โดยเฉพาะการโกหก เช่น บอกว่าแอบพบกับอดีตสามี หรือ มีตำรวจมาจีบ เป็นต้น ส่วน Anne ก็กังวลใจเป็นห่วงอนาคตลูกสาว ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างแม่กับลูกสาวนั้น แม้จะซับซ้อนแต่ก็เปี่ยมไปด้วยความรัก
