เรื่องย่อ

ในภาคต่อของเรื่องนี้ ได้เริ่มต้นที่ อดีตเจ้าหน้าที่เอฟบีไอทั้งสองคน ฟ็อกซื มัลเดอร์
(เดวิด ดูคอฟนีย์) และดาน่า สกัลลีย์ (กิลเลี่ยน แอนเดอร์สัน) ได้ออกจากราชการ
มาหลายปีแล้ว โดยที่มัลเดอร์ได้หลบหนีการตามล่าของพวกองค์กรลึกลับ และมาซ่อนตัว
อยู่ที่สถานที่อันห่างไกล ในขณะที่สกัลลีย์ได้มาเป็นหมอในโรงพยาบาลของโบสถ์คริ สเตียน
ซึ่งเธอได้เพื่อนสนิทกับคนไข้อาการหนัก แต่เมื่อเจ้าหน้าที่เอฟบีไอหญิงคนหนึ่ง (อแมนด้า พีท)
หายตัวไปอย่างลึกลับ และบาทหลวงคนหนึ่งซึ่งมีอดีตว่าถูกกล่าวหาว่าล่วงละเ มิดทางเพศเด็กนั้น
