เรื่องย่อ :

ซีรีส์ Spin-off จากตระกูล CSI โดยกลุ่มนี้จะเป็นเจ้าหน้าที่ FBI แผนก Cyber ทำหน้าที่สืบสวนด้าน Cyber Crime (หน่วยปราบปรามอาชญากรรมทางอินเทอร์เน็ต) โดย Patricia Arquette (ดาราที่เคยฝากผลงานไว้ในซีรีส์ Medium) มารับบทนำ Avery Ryan เช่นเดิม ร่วมกับ Ted Danson (ผู้รับบท D.B. Russell ใน CSI Las Vegas) ซึ่งใน season นี้ Avery Ryan ได้รับการโปรโมทเป็นรองผู้อำนวยการ ส่วน D.B. Russell ภายหลังจากที่เขาต้องสูญเสีย Jules คู่หูคนสนิทใน CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Season 15 จนทำให้ต้องแยกทางกับภรรยา เขาได้รับข้อเสนอจาก FBI และ Avery ให้เขามาร่วมทีม Cyber เพื่อหาประสบการณ์ในการทำงานใหม่ๆ
