แต่โชคดีที่ยังมีหมู่บ้านดาฟท์กรีนที่มีต้นไม้ที่มีก ลิ่นที่สัตว์ไม่ชอบอยู่ ทำให้หมู่บ้านไม่ถูกโจมตีจากสัตว์ร้าย แต่ทว่าต้นไม้ชนิดนี้กลับเป็นอันตรายต่อมนุษย์ ถ้าสูดดมเข้าไปเป็นจำนวนมาก พิษก็จะเข้าสู่ร่างกายทำให้ป่วยเป็นโรคดาฟท์ ซึ่งรักษาทางเดียวคือ ต้องใช้พืช IQ ซึ่งถูกเก็บไปทดลอง
